CRUMBLING MOUNTAINS, MIGHTY WOMEN
Crumbling Mountains, Mighty Women is a short documentary film that tries to capture the human story of Pahadi women from Joshimath who are facing eviction from their homes due to the threat to their lives imposed by the unstable land that they have generationally inhabited.
THISPLACE
Thisplace is a graphic narrative centred around the story of an adivasi community that is about to face displacement due to a development project, with elements of whimsy and fantasy woven into the narrative. I was inspired by the stories my father told me of how his family dealt with being forcibly displaced.
THOSE WHO BLEED
Those Who Bleed is a series of pamphlets created to promote awareness about all people from across the gender spectrum who menstruate. The pamphlets also aim to raise awareness about the gender-binary worldview societally enforced upon us and empathise with the humanity of people from across the spectrum.
